Standard Cabin · Upper
1-person · upper tierStandard Cabin · Upper
A private sleeping cabin on the upper level — an enclosed space of your own, built for real rest inside the airport. Inside you get a proper bed with an orthopedic mattress, fresh linen, your own reading light and ventilation, a USB socket to charge your devices and a curtain that closes the cabin off for privacy.
The upper position adds an extra sense of seclusion: no one walks past your cabin, there is no flow of people at entry level, and there is less noise and visual distraction — so the Standard Cabin · Upper is a calmer choice than the lower cabins. You reach it by a sturdy, well-designed ladder, easy and safe to climb. It suits most passengers, though it can be less convenient if you travel with large luggage or have limited mobility (the lower cabins and the Accessible Cabin are made for that).
The cabin is in the GettSleep rest area in the boarding zone — airside, past passport and security control — in Terminal 4 Satellite (T4S) of Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas Airport, next to the international departure gates. You don't leave the boarding area, which is exactly what makes it handy on a layover or before an early-morning flight.
Outside the cabin you have luggage lockers, shared showers with hot water and towels, a hair dryer, free Wi-Fi throughout and a desk staffed 24/7.
A practical answer to where to sleep at Madrid airport: book by the hour, from 1 hour.
