A single comfort-tier sleeping pod on the upper level — a private space with a little more room and a quieter setting. Inside you get a real bed with an orthopedic mattress, fresh linen, your own light and ventilation, a USB socket to charge your devices and a privacy curtain.
The comfort tier gives you a bit more space than a standard pod and a calmer corner of the lounge. As an upper pod it adds seclusion — no one passes by, with less noise and movement — and you reach it by a sturdy, safe ladder. It can be less convenient if you travel with large luggage or have limited mobility.
The pod is in the GettSleep lounge in the boarding zone — airside, past passport and security control — in Terminal 4 Satellite (T4S) of Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas Airport, next to the international departure gates. You don't leave the boarding area, which is exactly what makes it handy on a layover or before an early-morning flight.
Outside the pod you have luggage lockers, shared showers with hot water and towels, a hair dryer, free Wi-Fi throughout and a 24/7 reception.
