Madrid Airport Sleeping Pods: Private Cabins and Showers in T4S

Madrid Airport Sleeping Pods: Private Cabins and Showers in T4S

Private Madrid airport sleeping pods and showers inside T4S, airside past passport control. Six cabin formats from €45 per 3-hour block. Book direct.

The only Madrid airport sleeping pods located airside are at GettSleep, inside Terminal 4 Satellite (T4S), past passport control. It is a rest area with private sleeping cabins and showers for anyone who needs to sleep at Madrid airport between flights without leaving the transit area: you book a block by the hour, sleep, shower, and head back to your gate. Rest inside the terminal starts from €45 per 3-hour block.

One thing to know before you book: GettSleep is airside, in international departures, after security and passport control. You reach it from T4 on the APM automated shuttle train (T4 ↔ T4S, a few minutes) and you need a boarding pass. It is not in arrivals and not landside — if you haven't cleared passport control yet, you can't get in.

What it is: a rest area with private cabins and showers

A private sleeping cabin is an enclosed, single space with just what you need for a proper rest —bed, air, light and quiet— booked by the hour, so you never pay for square metres you don't use. GettSleep brings those cabins and the showers together in a rest area run under a recreation-salon licence. In practice it is rest by the hour inside the terminal itself: real privacy, a real bed, and a shower, with no need to reclaim luggage or pass security again. The airport operator is Aena; the rest-area brand is GettSleep.

How a sleeping cabin at the airport works

Think of it as rest on demand. You book a block of time, step into your cabin, sleep or work, and leave when boarding gets close. There is no full-day rate and no minimum night: you pay for the time you actually use. The flow looks like this:

  • Book online or, if you're already in T4S, drop by and check availability.
  • Pick your cabin format and a block of hours, from 1 h.
  • Settle in: a comfortable bed, adjustable A/C, a reading light and a lockable compartment for your carry-on.
  • Use the showers with a towel and toiletries, the Coffee Corner and the coworking area.

It suits long layovers and connecting flights, very early departures or late-night arrivals, and anyone who wants to shower and work in peace before boarding: a wait that is too long to spend at the gate and too short to leave the terminal.

The six cabin formats

There are six formats, from the simplest to the roomiest. All are sold by the hour, in blocks from 1 hour, and the prices below are the entry price per 3-hour block:

  • Standard Cabin · Upper — from €45 / 3 h. Single upper-level cabin, the most affordable option.
  • Standard Cabin · Lower — from €50 / 3 h. Single floor-level cabin, easier to get in and out.
  • Comfort Cabin · Upper — from €54 / 3 h. Upper level, with more enclosure.
  • Comfort Cabin · Lower — from €59 / 3 h. Floor level, with easy access.
  • Premium Cabin · Upper — from €65 / 3 h. The roomiest, most enclosed format.
  • Accessible Cabin — from €71 / 3 h. Adapted, step-free cabin.

The Standard and Comfort cabins are single-occupancy (one person). The Premium and Accessible cabins are roomier, but they are not designed for families: if you're travelling with a child, the honest setup is booking adjacent single cabins so you are side by side. Longer blocks are available if you need more hours or an overnight.

What each cabin includes

Every cabin has a comfortable bed, adjustable A/C, a blanket, a reading light, a lockable compartment for your carry-on, a mirror, and a charging shelf for your phone. This is genuine private rest, not a recliner chair.

The rest area also has shared amenities:

  • A clean towel and showers with premium toiletries (soap, shampoo, conditioner).
  • A coworking area with high-speed Wi-Fi and universal power outlets.
  • A Coffee Corner (bar with high stools) serving coffee.

Why it's the only private rest airside

T4 has day-use rooms like Aerotel Madrid / Air Rooms, but they sit landside (before security or in arrivals), not in transit. VIP lounges offer recline chairs and a shower — a different product. GettSleep is the only private cabin rest airside in T4S, after passport control, which is exactly why it fits international layovers and long connections without leaving the sterile zone.

Rest areas in the international and domestic departures zones are in separate secured areas of the airport. Complete the current booking before adding a rest area from another zone.
